Monkey Bread

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 40-45 minutes

Materials:

  • 40-45 buttermilk biscuits (4-5 cans)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups dark brown sugar

Process:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a bund pan with some cooking spray/ butter. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Cut the biscuits into fours and place into the bowl with the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Coat the biscuit pieces and place into your greased Bundt pan. Set aside.
  4. In a medium sauce pan add in the unsalted butter and dark sugar.
  5. Cook (carefully stirring) until the butter and sugar are melted, about 5-8 minutes. Be very careful as this mixture is very HOT!
  6. Pour the sugar and butter mixture over the coated biscuit pieces.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Once cooked carefully flip the Bundt pan over to remove the monkey bread (watch video for an easy visual).
  9. Pull apart and ENJOY!
