Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 40-45 minutes
Materials:
- 40-45 buttermilk biscuits (4-5 cans)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cups dark brown sugar
Process:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a bund pan with some cooking spray/ butter. Set aside.
- In a large bowl combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut the biscuits into fours and place into the bowl with the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Coat the biscuit pieces and place into your greased Bundt pan. Set aside.
- In a medium sauce pan add in the unsalted butter and dark sugar.
- Cook (carefully stirring) until the butter and sugar are melted, about 5-8 minutes. Be very careful as this mixture is very HOT!
- Pour the sugar and butter mixture over the coated biscuit pieces.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Once cooked carefully flip the Bundt pan over to remove the monkey bread (watch video for an easy visual).
- Pull apart and ENJOY!
