Quick & Easy Soft Pretzels

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 18-20 minutes

Materials:

  • 1 can buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1 egg w/ 1 tbsp. cold water
  • Sea salt to taste

Process:

  1. Cut each biscuit into fours.
  2. Taking each piece roll into a ball and using a small pairing knife cut an X into the top. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet with high sides add enough water to fill up the skillet almost to the top.
  4. Keeping the heat on high add in the baking soda. Once the water comes to a boil add in the quartered biscuits. Do this in batches so that you don’t overcrowd the pan. Cook each batch for 60-90 seconds and place on a greased parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  5. Preheat the oven to degrees F.
  6. Brush your pretzel bites with your egg and water mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt to taste and bake for 13-16 minutes or until the pretzel bites are a dark golden brown color.
  8. Plate and ENJOY!
