Materials:
- 1 box vanilla cake mix as well as the ingredients listed on the box
- 1/2 sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- sprinkles of your choice
Process:
- Preheat the oven to the instructions on the cake mix box and line a muffin tin with some cupcake liners. Set aside.
- Mix the batter and distribute evenly amongst the 12 liners.
- Bake according to boxed instructions and then let the cupcakes cool completely.
- Remove the cupcake liners from each muffin and place them in a pan or dish large enough to hold all the muffins and that also has high sides.
- Taking a skewer start making several holes in each cupcake. Set aside.
- In mixing bowl combine the condensed milk, whole milk, and evaporated milk. Mix well to combine and then pour over the cupcakes making sure the whole cupcake has some over top.
- Place in the fridge for several hours (best overnight) and allow the milk from the bottom of the pan to penetrate into the cupcakes.
- In a separate mixing bowl add in the heavy cream and using a hand held mixer start to whip the cream.
- Once the mixture becomes frothy add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extarct.
- Continue to mix until you reach stiff peaks.
- Pipe the whipped cream over your cupcake and finish off with a sprinkle of sprinkles over the top.
- Plate and ENJOY!
- Refrigerate for up to 3 days.
