Pizza “Rolls”

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 25-30 minutes

Materials:

  • 1 store bought pizza dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices to taste
  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp. neutral oil or butter for greasing pan
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Process:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and grease a round dish or pan with non stick cooking oil or butter. Set aside.
  2. In a small mixing bowl combine the butter, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Roll out your pizza dough to a rectangle (about 12″ by 8-10″) .
  4. Top the crust evenly with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
  5. Roll the dough into a log (just like rolling up cinnamon rolls).
  6. Divide the dough into 12 separate pieces and place in the pan seam side down.
  7. Coat the pizza rolls with the butter mixture and sprinkle with some fresh grated parmesan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the rolls are fully cooked through.
  9. Serve with marinara sauce and ENJOY!
