Kid Friendly “Soda”

Materials:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups frozen fruit thawed
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Process:

  1. Dissolve sugar in one cup of water over medium heat (making sure mixture does not come to a boil) . Set aside to cool.
  2. Add in your thawed frozen fruit and lemon juice into a blender. Pulse to combine until smooth.
  3. Add in the desired amount of cooled simple syrup (taste your fruit blend first to see how sweet it is before adding in the simple syrup) and blend for a few more seconds.
  4. Place desired amount of ice in the cups and disperse the juice among the glasses.
  5. Add in sparkling water and enjoy.
