Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 8-10 minutes
Materials:
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup soy nut butter or peanut butter
- 24 Hershey Kisses/ Hugs
Process:
- In a medium sized mixing bowl combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix and set aside.
- In a separate mixing bowl combine the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Mix to incorporate.
- Add in one egg a time making sure to incorporate well before adding next egg.
- Add in vanilla extract and peanut or soy nut butter. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- Add in the dry ingredients and mix until flour is fully incorporated.
- Cover and refrigerate for 60 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line 2 cookie sheets with some parchment paper.
- Taking a small ice cream scoop, scoop out a ball of dough.
- Roll between your hands to smooth the dough out and place onto your prepared baking sheet.
- Continue until all the cookies are shaped.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes and remove from the oven.
- While the cookies are still hot place an unwrapped Hershey Kiss in the center.
- Let cool completely, plate and ENJOY!
