Materials:
- 9 eggs
- 5 tbs. chocolate syrup
- 15 tbs. sugar
- 9 gelatin packets
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 3 cups warm water
- 2 boxes of strawberry jello (or another jello of your choice)
- Additional water needed per jello box directions
Layer 1:
- Add in 3 gelatin packets to a cup of hot water. Mix well to dissolve and set aside to cool.
- Separate 3 eggs into whites and yolks.
- Place the yolks into a medium sized mixing bowl and using a hand held electric mixer start to whip the eggs until they become frothy.
- Gradually start to add in 5 tbs. of sugar. Whip until you reach stiff peaks.
- Add in the egg yolks and mix well to combine.
- Add in 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and mix to combine.
- Add in 5 tbs. of chocolate strip, mix well.
- Finally, add in the cooled gelatin. Mix well to combine and pour your first layer into a large rectangular pan. Place in the fridge and wait 1-2 hours for the mixture to set.
Layer 2:
- Add in 3 gelatin packets to a cup of hot water. Mix well to dissolve and set aside to cool.
- Separate the remaining 6 eggs into whites and yolks. Add the yolks into a medium sized mixing bowl and set the whites aside.
- Add in 5 tbs. of sugar to the yolks and whip the mixture till it’s combined and pale in color.
- Add in 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and mix well.
- Add in the cooled gelatin and again mix well to combine.
- Pour the yellow mixture over the chocolate layer and place back into the fridge to set.
Layer 3:
- Add in 3 gelatin packets to a cup of hot water. Mix well to dissolve and set aside to cool.
- Add the remaining 6 egg whites to a medium sized mixing bowl. Using a hand held electric mixer mix until frothy.
- Gradually add in the remaining 5 tbs. of sugar. Mix until you reach stiff peaks.
- Add in the reaming 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and mix well.
- Add in the cooled gelatin, mix well to combine, and pour the mixture over the set second layer.
- Let se tin the fridge.
Layer 4:
- Take two packets of jello of your choice and mix them according to package instructions.
- Let the mixture cool before before pouring it over the third layer.
- The easiest way to do this is to pull the pan out slightly while keeping it in the fridge and pour the jello into the pan while it is still in the fridge. This will prevent the jello from sinking to the bottom.
- Let set and ENJOY!
