Materials:
- 1 large onion chopped
- 4-5 cloves garlic minced
- 4 cups spinach chopped
- 1 large tomato chopped
- 1 package Ravioli
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (additional needed for top)
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3-4 tbsp. vegetable oil
Process:
- Preheat the oven to
- Cook your ravioli according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl or cup add in the tomato sauce, sugar, marjoram, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- In a skillet with high sides add in your vegetable oil.
- Keeping the heat on medium let the oil heat up.
- Add in the garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add in the spinach and cook until wilted.
- Remove the spinach into a clean dish and add in more vegetable oil if needed.
- Add in the chopped onion and a pinch of salt, and cook until fully cooked through.
- Add in the ground turkey and cook while breaking it up.
- Add the tomato sauce to the cooked turkey and mix well to combine.
- Add back in the spinach as well as the chopped tomato.
- Add in the heavy cream and mix until everything is incorporated.
- At this point add in the cooked ravioli and shredded mozzarella. Mix to combine everything and remove pan from heat.
- Top with some additional cheese and bake for 20-25.
- Let sit for a few minutes, plate and ENJOY!
