Garlic/ Butter Chicken

Prep time: 15-20 minutes

Cook time: 12-15 minutes

Materials:

  • 2 chicken breasts cubed into 1-2 inch pieces
  • 4-5 garlic cloves diced
  • 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter (divided into 1 tbsp. and 2 tbsps.)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Process:

  1. Place your chicken in a small mixing bowl and season with some salt and pepper.
  2. In a separate dish combine the flour, oregano, basil, paprika, dried parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Coat each peace of chicken in the flour mixture.
  4. In a large skillet add in 2 tbsp. of olive oil and 1 tbsp. of unsalted butter. Keeping the heat on medium/ high let the butter melt.
  5. Once melted add in the chicken and cook 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Once chicken is fully cooked through add in the garlic and cook for about 60 seconds.
  7. Add in the butter and mix to to coat all the chicken. Cook for an additional 60-90 seconds.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and ENJOY!
