Materials:
- 1 lb. ground turkey or beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 garlic cloves diced
- 10-12 lasagna noodles broken up
- 14- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 6 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
Process:
- In a soup pot add in the olive oil.
- Keeping the heat on medium/ high add in the onion and cook 3-4 minutes stirring often.
- Add in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 60 seconds.
- Add in your ground meat and cook breaking the meat up.
- Add in the tomato sauce and chicken stock. Mix well.
- Season with sugar, Italian seasoning, marjoram, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and add in the broken up lasagna noodles.
- Lower to a simmer, cover and cook until lasagna noodles are fully cooked through.
- Shut the heat off and add in the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Mix well to incorporate.
- Plate and serve with your favorite garlic or crusty bread. ENJOY!
