Hot Chocolate Cupcakes

Cook time: Varies on box mixture

Materials:

  • 1 box white cake mix (as well as the ingredients listed on the box, i.e. eggs, oil, water)
  • 1/3 cup hot chocolate mix plus additional 1 tbsp. for frosting
  • 14 oz can vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • Marshmallow crème for filling (optional) or mini marshmallows
  • 1 Hershey’s chocolate bar

Process:

  1. Preheat the oven to the directions on the cake mix box and line a muffin tin with some cupcake liners. Set aside.
  2. In a missing bowl combine all the ingredients listed on the cake box mix as well as 1/3 cup hot chocolate mix. Mix well.
  3. Poor the batter halfway up the cupcake liners.
  4. Place a few marshmallows into the middle or tsp of the marshmallow crème.
  5. Top off with the remaining cake mix.
  6. Bake according the package instructions and then let cool completely.
  7. In a clean mixing bowl add in the vanilla frosting and the remaining 1 tbsp. hot cocoa mix. Mix well until the cocoa mix is evenly distributed into the frosting.
  8. Frost each cupcake with your frosting.
  9. Top with a few mini marshmallows and finish off with a grating of chocolate.
  10. Plate and ENJOY!
