Materials:
- 1 box white cake mix (as well as the ingredients listed on the box, i.e. eggs, oil, water)
- 1/3 cup hot chocolate mix plus additional 1 tbsp. for frosting
- 14 oz can vanilla frosting
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- Marshmallow crème for filling (optional) or mini marshmallows
- 1 Hershey’s chocolate bar
Process:
- Preheat the oven to the directions on the cake mix box and line a muffin tin with some cupcake liners. Set aside.
- In a missing bowl combine all the ingredients listed on the cake box mix as well as 1/3 cup hot chocolate mix. Mix well.
- Poor the batter halfway up the cupcake liners.
- Place a few marshmallows into the middle or tsp of the marshmallow crème.
- Top off with the remaining cake mix.
- Bake according the package instructions and then let cool completely.
- In a clean mixing bowl add in the vanilla frosting and the remaining 1 tbsp. hot cocoa mix. Mix well until the cocoa mix is evenly distributed into the frosting.
- Frost each cupcake with your frosting.
- Top with a few mini marshmallows and finish off with a grating of chocolate.
- Plate and ENJOY!
