Chili Oil & Garlic Pasta

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15-20 minutes

Materials:

  • 1 pack pasta of your choice (about 1 lb.)
  • 3 large garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp. dark soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp. neutral oil
  • 1/2 tsp chili oil
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Process:

  1. Cook pasta in salted water and drain. Place in a clean bowl.
  2. Into the bowl of pasta add in the sugar, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and rice vinegar. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a small sauce pan add in the neutral oil and chili oil. Let the oil heat up and and in the garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook 30-60 seconds stirring constantly, and remove from heat.
  4. Pour hot oil directly over pasta and mix well to combine.
  5. Garnish with green onions and additional chili oil if needed.
  6. Plate and ENJOY!
