Prep time: 20-25 minutes
Cook time: 5-8 minutes per batch
Materials:
- 6-8 thinly cut pork chops seasoned with salt and pepper
- 2 large eggs w/ 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp parsley, 1-2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup bread crumbs w/ 2 tbsp. flour, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp parsley, 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste
- Neutral oil for shallow frying
Process:
- Using a meat mallet pound your pork chops to about 1/4 inch thickness. Remember the thicker the cutlet the longer you will need to cook them. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl combine 2 eggs, garlic powder, parsley, grated Parmesan, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl combine the bread crumbs, flour, garlic powder, parsley, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Taking one pork chop at a time dip it in the egg mixture. Shaking off the excess place the pork chop into the bread crumb mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
- Shake off any excess bread crumbs and place them directly onto a heated up skillet with neutral oil.
- Cook about 4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the pork chops.
- Place on a paper towel lined plate to drain off any excess oil.
- When ready plate and ENJOY!
