Parmesan Crusted Pork Cutlets

Prep time: 20-25 minutes

Cook time: 5-8 minutes per batch

Materials:

  • 6-8 thinly cut pork chops seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 2 large eggs w/ 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp parsley, 1-2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup bread crumbs w/ 2 tbsp. flour, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp parsley, 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste
  • Neutral oil for shallow frying

Process:

  1. Using a meat mallet pound your pork chops to about 1/4 inch thickness. Remember the thicker the cutlet the longer you will need to cook them. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine 2 eggs, garlic powder, parsley, grated Parmesan, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl combine the bread crumbs, flour, garlic powder, parsley, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Taking one pork chop at a time dip it in the egg mixture. Shaking off the excess place the pork chop into the bread crumb mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  5. Shake off any excess bread crumbs and place them directly onto a heated up skillet with neutral oil.
  6. Cook about 4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the pork chops.
  7. Place on a paper towel lined plate to drain off any excess oil.
  8. When ready plate and ENJOY!
