Materials:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion sliced
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 6 slices American cheese (or whatever cheese you like)
- 6 flour tortillas (small)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Process:
- In a skillet add in olive oil and sliced onion.
- Add in a pinch of salt and keeping the heat on medium/ high cook stirring often until the onions have softened (3-5 minutes).
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In a small cup or ramekin combine the mayonnaise and ketchup. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside.
- In a clean bowl combine the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide into 6 equal pieces.
- Taking one piece at a time smash it into the tortilla (watch video for visual).
- Heat up the same skillet that you used for the onions.
- Keeping the heat on medium add in the tortilla beef side down.
- Cook to your likeness and flip the tortilla over.
- Top with cheese and cook until melted.
- Remove from skillet and continue cooking the remaining tortillas.
- Top with ketchup and mayo mixture as well as sautéed onions. Fold in half and ENJOY!
