Meatloaf

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 90 minutes

Meatloaf Materials:

  • 1 lb. meatloaf mix
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup Panko
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley

Glaze Materials:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. white vinegar

Process:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a loaf pan with some aluminum foil (this will make clean up much easier). Grease the pan and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine all of the meatloaf ingredients. Mix just long enough to combine. Do not overmix or you will get a very tough meatloaf.
  3. Place the mixture into your prepared loaf pan and set aside.
  4. In a small mixing bowl combine the glaze materials.
  5. Using a pastry brush carefully brush the glaze over the top.
  6. Bake for 90 minutes. Let sit for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
