For many things in this recipe I did not include measurements. 1 can of SPAM typically makes about 4 servings/ bowls. Add in the desired amount of rice and seaweed so that you make this musubi bowl to your liking.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Materials:
- 1 can SPAM cubed
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp. neutral oil
- 1 tsp furikake
- Jasmine rice cooked
- Seaweed to taste
Process:
- In a small mixing bowl combine the sugar, low sodium soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well and set aside.
- In a skillet add in the oil.
- Keeping the heat on medium/high add in the cubed SPAM.
- Cook 5-6 minutes stirring often, until the spam turns slightly golden.
- Add in the prepared sauce and cook, stirring often for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- In a bowl add in the desired amount of rice and top with the furikake (I also top with soy sauce but that’s optional).
- Add in the cooked SPAM and a few sheets of seaweed.
- ENJOY!
