Strawberry Lemonade Slushy

This recipe requires simple syrup which is just a mixture of equal parts water and sugar cooked together and cooled. To see how I make mine please watch the video. 

Strawberry Layer Materials:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/4-1/2 cup simple syrup

Lemon Layer Materials:

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/4-1/2 cup simple syrup


  1. Make your simple syrup and set aside to cool. I used 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar which made about 1 cup of simple syrup.
  2. In a blender add in 1 cup of strawberries, ice, and enough simple syrup to sweeten the mixture. Taste your strawberries and see how sweet they are before adding your simple syrup.
  3. Blend the mixture together and add into your glass filling it up about halfway.
  4. Into the blender add the lemon juice, additional cup of ice, and simple syrup to taste. Blend together and pour over strawberry layer.
  5. Garnish with fresh lemon slices (optional) and ENJOY!
