Materials:
- 2 chicken breasts cut into cutlets
- 4 garlic cloves diced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup chicken stock
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. white rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Process:
- Salt and pepper your chicken cutlets to taste. Set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl or cup add in the honey, chicken stock, soy sauce and white rice vinegar. Mix well and set aside.
- In a large skillet add in the vegetable oil and keeping the heat on medium/ low let the oil get hot.
- Pour the corn starch into a bowl and dip each piece of chicken in the corn starch. Once the oil heats up, place the chicken into skillet. Cook 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked add in the butter and let that melt.
- Once butter is melted add in the garlic and cook for about 60 seconds or until fragrant.
- Pour the honey mixture over the chicken and move it around to make sure all of the chicken is coated in it.
- Sprinkle the red pepper flakes over the top of the chicken.
- Cook on low heat for abut 5 minutes and allow the sauce to thicken. Once thickened remove from heat, plate and ENJOY!
