Materials:
- 4 cod fillets
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 4 garlic cloves diced
- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Process:
- Season the cod with a sprinkle of lemon juice. Set aside while you make the garlic butter sauce.
- In a small mixing dish add in the unsalted butter, garlic, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Pat the fish dry lightly with clean paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet add in the olive oil. Keeping the heat on medium/ high let the pan heat up.
- Add in the cod and cook 3-5 minutes or until the bottom is nicely seared.
- Flip the fish and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the butter garlic sauce over the fish and cook for an additional 60-90 seconds.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, plate and ENJOY!
