Garlic Butter Baked Fish

Materials:

  • 3 fish fillets (I used tilapia)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 large garlic cloves grated
  • 1 cup panko
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • Drizzle of olive oil

Process:

  1. Preheat the oven to 385 degrees F and line a baking sheet with some parchment paper or aluminum foil. Set aside.
  2. Salt and pepper both sides of your fish.
  3. In a small dish combine the butter and grated garlic.
  4. Using half of your butter mixture, butter the top side of your fish. Leave the remaining butter for the other side.
  5. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine the panko, parmesan, parsley and salt and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Place the fish buttered side down into the the panko mixture.
  7. While the fish is still buttered side down in the panko, butter the top side of the fish.
  8. Flip the fish to coat the remaining side.
  9. Place the fish on your prepared pan continue this process with the remaining fish.
  10. Once all are coated and on the baking sheet, drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
  11. Bake for 18-20 minutes and then broil for 3-5 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  12. Plate along side some veggies (optional) and ENJOY!
