Cook time: 4-6 hours
Materials:
- 2 lbs. steak tips
- 2 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. fish sauce
- 2 tsp garlic powder (divided)
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano (divided)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 lbs. baby potatoes halved
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter sliced into 1 tbsp. pieces
Process:
- Season the steak tips with low sodium soy sauce, fish sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp oregano and pepper. Mix well to coat and place into the insert of your slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl add in your baby potatoes and coat with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Season with remaining garlic powder (1 tsp), remaining oregano (1 tsp), onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix well to coat the potatoes in the seasonings.
- Pour the potatoes over the steak tips.
- Add in the beef broth and place a rosemary sprig over the top of the potatoes.
- Top with unsalted butter.
- Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4.
- Plate and ENJOY!
OPTIONAL:
If you want to thicken the broth before serving combine 1/4 cup corn starch with 1/4-1/3 cup cold water and add it into the crock pot 1 hour before cooking is complete. This thickens the broth and makes a delicious gravy.
