Cook time: 4-6 hours

Materials:

  • 2 lbs. steak tips
  • 2 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic powder (divided)
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano (divided)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lbs. baby potatoes halved
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter sliced into 1 tbsp. pieces

Process:

  1. Season the steak tips with low sodium soy sauce, fish sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp oregano and pepper. Mix well to coat and place into the insert of your slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl add in your baby potatoes and coat with a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Season with remaining garlic powder (1 tsp), remaining oregano (1 tsp), onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix well to coat the potatoes in the seasonings.
  4. Pour the potatoes over the steak tips.
  5. Add in the beef broth and place a rosemary sprig over the top of the potatoes.
  6. Top with unsalted butter.
  7. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4.
  8. Plate and ENJOY!

OPTIONAL:

If you want to thicken the broth before serving combine 1/4 cup corn starch with 1/4-1/3 cup cold water and add it into the crock pot 1 hour before cooking is complete. This thickens the broth and makes a delicious gravy.
