Butterscotch Bird Nests

Prep time: 15-20 minutes

Cook time: 2-4 minutes

Materials:

  • 1 cup chocolate eggs
  • 11 oz butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup soy nut (or peanut) butter
  • 1 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 12 oz. chow mein noodles

Process:

  1. Prep a large baking sheet with some parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl add in the butterscotch chips, soy nut butter and coconut oil.
  3. Microwave in 30 seconds increments until the mixture has melted and is combined.
  4. Add in the chow mein noodles and stir to coat each noodle in the mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate eggs.
  6. Using 2 spoons dallop desired sized nests onto your parchment sheet.
  7. Once done place in the fridge for 30 minutes to set quickly or set aside at room temperature for several hours to set.
  8. Plate and ENJOY!
