Prep time: 20-25 minutes
Cook time: 3-4 minutes
Materials:
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- Vanilla extract
- Chocolate and Vanilla tea biscuits
- 1 lb. farmer cheese
- 1 green or red Jell-O
- Sprinkles of your choice (optional)
Chocolate Topping Materials:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp. water
Process:
- Make the Jell-O according the the box instructions. Pour into a container with a flat bottom (I used a rectangular Pyrex dish). Set aside until the Jell-O sets.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl add in the softened butter and powdered sugar. Mix until the mixture is smooth and silky, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add in the farmer cheese. Mix for several minutes until everything is incorporated and becomes one smooth mixture.
- Add in the vanilla and continue to mix until incorporated.
- Remove half of the mixture and place in a clean bowl.
- With the remaining mixture add in the cocoa powder. Mix until fully incorporated.
- On a large clean surface (a cookie sheet works great) place a rectangular piece of parchment paper. Size will depend on how big you will make it.
- Place 3 vanilla cookies horizontally across and continue to do this until you reach the bottom of the parchment sheet. I did 7 rows down.
- Spread the chocolate mixture over the cookies and smooth out.
- Taking the chocolate tea biscuits place them in the center vertically (again watch video for visual). I was able to do 5.
- Do the same on the left and right and make sure to put them on the edge of the surface.
- Pour half of the vanilla mixture over the middle section of cookies. Smooth out.
- Taking the Jell-O and place it in the center however you want. I made a long log but you can sprinkle the Jell-O in do whatever you feel is best.
- Pour the rest of the vanilla mixture over the top and spread over the cookies on the side leaving about 1/2 inch of space on the side.
- Going under the parchment paper fold up to the center to bring the sides of the cookies together and form a triangle.
- In a small sauce pot add in all the chocolate topping ingredients.
- Keeping the heat on medium stir constantly until the mixture is melted and together. DO NOT bring the mixture to a boil. Set aside and cool.
- Once cooled pour the mixture over the top of your house. Sprinkle with sprinkles and place in the fridge for a few hours to set.
- Slice and ENJOY!
