Lemon Garlic Chicken

Prep time: 15-20 minutes

Cook time: 15-20 minutes (cooking time will vary depending on the size of your chicken)

Chicken Materials:

  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into large cubes
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 6 garlic cloves diced
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil

Sauce Materials:

  • 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup water


  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl add in the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Mix well to coat.
  2. Add in the garlic cloves, sugar, lemon juice and flour. Mix well to coat.
  3. Coat a medium/ large skillet with some vegetable oil.
  4. Keeping the heat on medium let the oil heat up. Add in the chicken and cook on all sides for several minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through.
  5. Remove the cooked chicken and place it in a clean bowl.
  6. In the same skillet add in the unsalted butter and let it melt.
  7. Add in the flour and stir to combine with the butter. Cook for about 60 seconds to cook out the floury taste.
  8. Add in the water and mix well until thickened.
  9. Season with salt, pepper and oregano.
  10. Add the chicken back into the pan and cook for a few minutes stirring, making sure to coat the chicken in the sauce.
  11. Plate and ENJOY!
