Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Cook time:
Materials:
- 2-3 lbs. chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp. white rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp marjoram
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Process:
- In a small mixing bowl combine the barbecue sauce, honey, white rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, marjoram, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Mix very well to create a marinade.
- Place the drumsticks in a large bowl or Tupperware. Pour the sauce all over the drumsticks making sure to coat every inch of the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for several hours (I typically do overnight).
- Place on a hot grill (medium/high heat) and grill rotating every few minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through (internal temperature of at least 175 degrees F). Times will vary depending on size of drumsticks/ grill type/ heat.
- Serve with your favorite grilled veggies.
