Materials:
- 1 lb. large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 6-7 large garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp. grated ginger
- 1 tbsp. corn starch
- 1 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. dark soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. neutral oil
- Green onions (for garnish)
Process:
- In a mixing bowl add in the peeled and deveined shrimp, along with the corn starch, low sodium soy sauce, and dark soy sauce. Mix well and set aside.
- In a skillet with high sides add in the neutral oil.
- Keeping the heat on medium/ high add in the garlic and grated ginger. Cook 60-90 seconds.
- Add in the shrimp.
- Cook 2-3 minutes per side.
- Add in the honey and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions.
- ENJOY over rice/potatoes/salad.
