Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15-20 minutes
- 1-2 lbs. of green beans
- 4 strips of bacon diced
- Salt to taste
- In a skillet (I prefer doing this in my cast iron skillet, but if you do not have one use whatever skillet is available to you) add in the diced bacon and cook until crispy. Using a slotted spoon remove the bacon onto a paper towel lined plate.
- Add in the green beans, season with salt, and cook to desired crispy-ness. I like mine to have a bit of a crunch so I only cook them about 5-7 minutes on medium-high heat.
- Remove the green beans, plate them, and sprinkle the bacon over the top.
